Trying something a little new.
When I first started the blog, I wanted to make sure it wasn’t just about the latest designers & brands. Being a fashion addict isn’t always easy when you’re living that student life on that young adult budget. When it comes to the blog & to styling, I wanted to show that you can look just as fab without having to save a whole paycheck to get that cute new pair of shoes or the jacket that is to die for.
Fashion isn’t just about what you wear, it’s about how you wear it.
So, with that being said I’m trying something a little new. Here’s to learning how to DIY! Hope you all enjoy & just have just as much fun with it as I did (but without all the glue gun burns).
As one of my last hoorahs to summer, I decided to take advantage of that warm weather & do my own take on a trend popping up on all our favorite bloggers & celebrities. From Rihanna, to Kim K, to my favorites since I was 8 Mary-Kate & Ashley, the Pom-Pom shoe has become the perfect pop of fun to any outfit.
So, here it goes!
- Shoes, preferably with horizontal strap across toes
- Hot glue gun
- Yarm Pom Poms
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3! Begin gluing the pom poms from one side of the shoe to the other. Make sure to stagger them, one up one down, in order to get that perfect amount of fluff!
Strap them on, throw on your #ootd, & you have yourself a Sunday Funday outfit.
