I’m all about traveling the world, but sometimes you don’t need to go too far from home in order to find an adventure. Taking advantage of the summer days, we decided to visit a little town that has a big hype. Marfa, TX, is an art filled, unique little spot tucked about three hours away from El Paso. If you’re looking for a one of a kind experience, this is definitely the place to go.
On the way into town, you will pass by one of their most famous art installations, the Prada Marfa Exhibit. Finding single pieces from the 2005 Prada line and stumbling upon them in the middle of the desert seems straight out of a movie, but it’s as real as it gets.
Once into town, the unique encounters continue. From an old motel that was converted to an amazing hotel with simplistic chic rooms, to bars where you can drink inside of a bus or teepee, the city was filled with amazing surprises.
Keeping with the desert, chic vibe of the town, I pulled out a bodycon and some Beatle booties, a must for any closet.
